Gillett students display projects at science fair

Gillett Elementary School held its annual Science Fair on April 10. Fifty-five students in kindergarten to fifth grade participated. They displayed 38 projects in two categories: scientific method or research. Some of the research topics were storms, computer pixels, butterflies and rabbits. The scientific method projects answered questions such as “How corrosive is soda?” and “How do acids and bases affect plant life?” The elementary school students who participated not only learned about science topics of their choosing, but also taught other students through their project displays.
