Floyd Spice

Floyd Joseph “Joe” Spice, of Lily, formerly of Oconto Falls, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025, at the age of 76. Joe was born Aug. 12, 1948, to Floyd “Bud” and Marilyn “Jean” (Nemojeski) Spice. He married Faith “Faye” on Aug. 16, 1975, at St. Anthony’s Church, and they continued to live in the community for many years, until moving to Lily. Joe was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and cherished friend, who lived a life dedicated to family, community and the joy of sharing stories with everyone around him. Later in his life, Joe and Faye were the proud owners of Joe’s Place, a local bar in Lily, where he combined his love for cooking and bartending with his passion for connecting with people. Joe will be remembered for his willingness to lend a helping hand to everyone, his kind heart to live life fully and his positive inspiration to his family. Joe is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Faith; daughter, Tamara Smith; son, Joseph (Kimberly) Spice; grandchildren, Sean, Courtney and Hannah; father, Floyd “Bud” Spice; siblings, Gerald Spice, Judy Ellie, Calvin Spice, Robert (Jenny) Spice, Harry Spice, Janet (Todd) Schmidt and Janice (Robert) Schmidt; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Spice. He is preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn; son-in-law, David Smith; brother-in-law, Dennis Ellie; and parents-in-law, Donald and Pearl Spice.
