David Teller Sr., 46, of Neopit, began his journey to the spirit world on June 7, 2014. He was born on Nov. 14, 1967, in Shawano, to the late Raymond “Steve” Teller and Shirley (Crowe) Teller.
David attended Menominee schools and went on to work at the MTE Mill and for the Menominee Housing Department. David was a kind, caring person. He would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need and never ask for anything in return. He enjoyed playing cards, riding in the woods, watching the Packers and listening to music, but more than anything he loved spending time and joking around with his family.
David is survived by five children, Tiffani (Conjetta Lazzaro) Teller, of Shawano, David (Violet Madosh) Teller Jr., of Neopit, Roarah (Jordan Best) Teller, of Green Bay, Raymond (Cassandra Knipp) Teller, of Green Bay, and Renier (Rachenda Rockman) Teller, of Keshena; five grandchildren, Kayleigh Teller, David Teller III, Davion Wolfe, Kenneth Fish and Jayveionn Williams; sisters, Marilyn (Jose) Arlequin, Roarah (Willard “Buzz” Peters) Teller, Dora (David Askenette) Teller, Renee (Frank Thomas) Teller and Janice (Duane Kaquatosh) Teller; brothers, Duane (Rita) Teller Sr., Anthony (Deb Leroy) Teller Sr., Steven Teller Sr., Gerald Teller Sr., Daryl Teller, Jerome (Penny Pamonicutt) Teller and Russell Teller.
He is further survived by close friends, Jana Kenote and Roseanne Peterson; numerous nieces and nephews, including Gerald Teller Jr. and Shirley E. Crow; as well as the mother of his children and best friend, his “Hons,” Sammia Braddock, of Green Bay.
He was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Marlin and Randall Red Cloud; and two sisters, Clarabelle and Deborah Teller.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Neopit. Visitation will be held at the Teller residence, N1907 Midway Road, in Neopit from 4 p.m. Sunday until the procession leaves for the church on Wednesday.
