False imprisonment
A Shawano man has been charged with a felony count of false imprisonment for allegedly confining a woman in a room during a domestic abuse incident in the city on Monday.
Trenton K. Mcnabb, 31, could face a maximum six years in prison and $10,000 fine if convicted. He is also charged with misdemeanor counts of domestic abuse-related battery and disorderly conduct with use of a dangerous weapon.
According to the criminal complaint, Mcnabb sharpened a machete with a piece of sandpaper while standing in front of the door to the room and preventing the woman from leaving.
Mcnabb was being held on a $2,500 cash bond is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Monday in Shawano-Menominee County Circuit Court.
Auto theft
An Ogdensburg woman is facing a felony count of auto theft for allegedly stealing a vehicle in the town of Grant last month.
Jessica L. Schoenike, 28, is accused of taking her ex-boyfriend’s car from his residence on June 22.
Schoenike could face a maximum six years in prison and $10,000 fine if found guilty. She is scheduled for an initial court appearance on July 29.
Felony OWI
A Green Bay man has been charged with a felony count of third-offense operating while intoxicated with a minor in the vehicle.
Joseph P. Pamonicutt, 45, was arrested in the city of Shawano on Thursday after being pulled over for an unsafe lane deviation. The criminal complaint alleges he was intoxicated and had a child under the age of 16 in the vehicle.
If convicted, Pamonicutt could face anywhere from 90 days to two years imprisonment and a fine of $1,200 to $4,000.
He was being held on a $2,000 cash bond and is scheduled for a prelimi nary hearing Monday.
