CMN to buy tribal office building

The College of Menominee Nation (CMN) intends to purchase the Menominee Tribal Office Building at N3522 Cottage Ave., Neopit. The building, a 10,500-square-foot wood log construction, has been historically owned and occupied by Menominee Tribal Enterprises for administrative purposes. CMN will provide opportunities for community members in Neopit, as well as the surrounding communities, including Zoar and Middle Village. “The purchase of the administrative office building in Neopit serves as a grounding point for our collaborative workforce development efforts with Menominee Tribal Enterprises,” CMN President Christopher Caldwell said in a press release. “This grounding also allows CMN to extend training and other opportunities to pursue our mission directly in the Neopit community.”
