Caroline Motorsports recently added a 12th employee, and now the company is adding more space for inventory.
Known for its sale and service of Polaris and Bobcat brands, the business — which already uses two of the four corners at County roads G and M in Caroline — is now using a third corner.
With permission granted by the Shawano County Board of Supervisors in January, Caroline Motorsports will use the southeast corner of the intersection to display inventory. The business already uses the northeast and southwest corners.
“All of our used Bobcat units and attachment will be displayed there,” owner Shawn Peebles said. “We’ll be adding some inventory and spreading out what we already have.”
The southeast corner used to be the site of three houses. They were razed in anticipation of the approved zoning change. The land, which was zoned rural residential, is now zoned hamlet zoning district. A conditional use permit was also granted to allow for outdoor sales, display and repairs at the new site.
Peebles said he purchased the car shop in 20007 with Polaris coming on board in 2017.
“We’re a small-town store for the community,” Peebles said. “We’re also known for free installation at the time of purchase.”
Caroline Motorsports offers new and used inventory, as well as parts, service and financing.
Equipment includes ATVs, augers, blades, buckets, cutter implements, grapples, hitches, lawn mowers (riding, too), loader attachments, loaders, mower attachments, off-highway trucks, skid steers, snowblower implements, speciality vehicles, stump grinder attachments, tele handlers, tiller implements, tractors and utility vehicles.
