Bowler 63, Marion 61 (OT)
It was the tale of two halves in Bowler’s 63-61 overtime win over Marion.
Marion led 25-18 at halftime, but Bowler bounced back to win the second half 37-30 and send the game into overtime with a 55-55 score.
In OT, Bowler finished on top 8-6 for the win.
Marion was led by Braylon Mielke with 17 points and Nolan Wisnefski with 10. Mielke also led with 13 rebounds, with Sawyer Kamba nabbing 11. Wisnefski led with four assists, and Kamba had three steals.
Niagara 67, Gillett 21
Ryan Pensis scored 15 points and Jed Herzog had six in Gillett’s 67-21 loss to Niagara.
Niagara led 41-9 at halftime and outscored Gillett 26-12 in the second half.
St. Thomas Aquinas Academy 46, Lena 32
St. Thomas Aquinas Academy maintained control of the game, defeating Lena 46-32.
Lena was down 19-16 at halftime and was outscored 27-16 after the break.
Fox Valley Lutheran 58, Oconto Falls 54
The Panthers made a valiant effort in the second half but came up short in a 58-54 loss to Fox Valley Lutheran.
Trailing 29-21 at halftime, Oconto Falls outscored Fox Valley Lutheran by four points in the second half, but that wasn’t enough.
Evan Yuma led Oconto Falls with 19 points, and JJ Pytleski added 10.
Yuma also led with eight rebounds and three assists. Chase Carriveau had three steals.
Crivitz 67, Suring 31
Crivitz generated more points in the first half than they would need the rest of the game in a 67-31 defeat of Suring.
Crivitz led 41-17 at the break and added 12 points to its margin of victory in the second half.
The Eagles were led by Taylor Booth-Stoffregen’s 17 points.
Northeast Wisconsin Christian Home School 59, Tigerton 38
James Brady led the Tigers with 18 points in Tigerton’s 59-38 loss to Northeast Wisconsin Christian Home School. Brady also led his team in rebounds with 17.
Caleb Dahlstrom led Tigerton with three assists. With two steals each were Brady, Dahlstrom, Sam Anheuser and Joey Zimdars.
