Bonduel 71, Southern Door 57
With a slim three-point lead at halftime, Bonduel pulled away after the break as they defeated Southern Door 71-57 in the Division 4 sectional semifinal game at Green Bay Southwest.
But, the game started with the Eagles in command, at one point going on a 13-point run. After a Bonduel timeout, Carter Moesch’s 3-pointer ended the Southern Door scoring streak.
Ryan Westrich led the Bears with 25 points and 11 rebounds.
Moesch added another 14 points, and Race Anvelink tossed in another 13.
Cade Johnson handed out seven assists, and led with three steals.
Notre Dame 53, Pulaski 52
The Division 2 sectional semifinal literally went down to the wire, as Notre Dame won 53-53 on a 3-pointer as time expired.
The Tritons led 32-25 at one point in the second half, but the Red Raiders battled back with Joseph Mijal’s basket giving Pulaski a one-point lead.
The teams went back and forth with Drew Siudzinski hitting the game-winning basket.
Pulaski’s 2024-25 season included a 10-8 mark in the Fox River Classic Conference and 16-12 record overall.
Colin Schultz led the Red Raiders with 20.0 points per game, followed by Mijal with 11.8 and Bryce Wotruba with 11.0. Mijal pulled down an average of 4.3 rebounds per game, while Wotruba averaged 3.6.
Wotruba led Pulaski with 2.7 assists per game, and Bohdan Schmidt had 1.8.
