Bonduel golfers win at Golden Sands

April 30 Bay Conference Meet Shawano golfers placed fifth at their home meet at the Shawano Lake Golf Course. The Hawks carded a 188, with West De Pere winning with a 154. Tristan Miller and Blake Knope tied with a 44, followed by Duane Gristeau-Blanche with a 49 and Cooper Montour with a 51. Jakob Stuhr carded a 53. Central Wisconsin Conference Bonduel topped four area teams and several others on the links at Golden Sands Golf Course in Cecil. The Bears won with a 316, followed by Wittenberg-Birnamwood with a 373 and Marion with a 393. Menominee Indian/Gresham had an incomplete, with 12 teams competing. Bonduel’s Jake Dreyer was the medalist with a 76, and three of his teammates scored the third-, fourth- and fifth-best scores. Reed Luepke scored a 78, with Colin Fischer getting an 80 and Colin Margo scoring 82. Bonduel’s other golfer, Jaxon Bogacz, scored 87. Scoring for Wittenberg-Birnamwood were Owen Schultz with a 90, August Barke and Joey Seegmiller each with a 91, and George Seegmiller with a 101. Seth Fisher scored a 109. Marion’s Brady Malueg led the Mustangs with a 94. Jack Schoen scored a 97, Ryan Malueg had an even 100, and Samuel Gueths had a 102. Collin Grogan had a 109. Menominee Indian/Gresham only fielded three golfers. River Wheelock had a 120, followed by Kaidyen Zaits with a 121 and Porter Hoffman with a 122. North Eastern Conference Oconto Falls scored a 351 and placed seventh out of 10 teams at the Little River Golf Course in Marinette. Luxemburg-Casco won the mini-meet with a 329. Scoring for the Panthers were Kadyn Riel with a 77 (fourth place), Carson McDermid with an 88, and Jackson McDonald and Austin Anderson each with a 93. Isaiah Hirst scored 94.
