‘Bistro’ event to feature cabaret group

Nite at the Bistro, a semiformal event to benefit the Oconto Hospital Citizens’ Foundation and the Oconto Area Humane Society & Animal Shelter, will be held Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Bond Community Center in Oconto. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., with dinner at 6 p.m. The gala includes a dinner, catered from The Marc, featuring Parmesan chicken breast and bistro medallions, plus all the sides and an assortment of desserts. Glamorama, a three-women cabaret group, will perform. Raffles, a silent auction and oral auction featuring Caroline Imig’s award-winning pies will take place. Bill Jartz, news anchor for WBAY Action 2 News, will return as master of ceremonies. As an added convenience, valet parking will be offered. Individuals, businesses or organizations may drop off auction items at Firstmerit Bank in Oconto. For pickup of auction donations, call Pat Honish, 920-834-5410.
