Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce is again hosting a statewide competition to find the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin.

The 2026 contest marks the 11th year of the popular public voting competition and the first year of a new partnership with BMO, which joins as the contest’s presenting partner.

The Oconto County Youth Fair observed its 85th anniversary this year, but an area 4-H club has been around for almost as long.

The Christy Brook 4-H Club, one of nine 4-H clubs in Oconto County, is turning 75 this year, according to Melissa Desterheft, the club’s co-leader.
