Lena is 20-2 overall.

Antigo 6, Pacelli 3

Wittenberg-Birnamwood’s Ethan Novy scored four of the Red Robins’ six goals as Antigo’s boys hockey team defeated Pacelli 6-3 in Antigo.

The Red Robins scored three goals in the first period, the first by Sheppard Snider at 10:40 with help from Billy Portman. Novy scored at 14:01 with an Alex Brittenham assist, and Liam Burt scored at 16:59.

Bay Area 4 Central Wisconsin 3 (OT)

The Ice Bears ended the regular season on a winning note, a 4-3 overtime victory over nonconference foe Central Wisconsin Storm in Mosinee.

Faye Brunke scored the winning goal at 2:25 in OT with assist from Mya Sheppard and Reese Spiering.

Hundreds of players have suited up for the Menominee Nation and Menominee Indian boys and girls basketball teams over the years.

There hasn’t been one quite like Urijah Reevis, who’s hit a couple of major milestones in her senior season with the Eagles.

Xavier 57, Shawano 56

Xavier was flat for much of the second half but scored at the end when it mattered most in a 57-56 Bay Conference win over Shawano.

“Despite the tough result, the Hawks showed tremendous heart, resilience and competitiveness throughout the night,” coach Joel Doxtator said.

Tuesday, Feb. 10

Wittenberg-Birnamwood 71, Pacelli 69

Wittenberg-Birnamwood hung on to defeat Pacelli 71-69 in a nonconference game.

The Chargers led 32-26 at halftime, but the Cardinals fought back to force a 62-62 tie. Luckily for the Chargers, a few key baskets down the stretch preserved the win.
