Sharon A. Johnson

As her journey on earth ends, a new one starts that will never end.

Sharon A. Johnson, 81, passed away March 30, 2026. She was born July 19, 1944, in Oconto Falls to the late Roger and Joyce (Young) Davis. She went to Oconto Falls grade and high school. Sharon lived on the west side of town and had a good time with the west side kids. She went to a lot of dances and beer parties.

Clifford Church

The family of Clifford Church (known by many as C.C.) invites friends, relatives and community members to join them in honoring his life.

A military honors ceremony will be held April 18, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Red Springs Cemetery, W10234 East Town Hall Road, Gresham.

A memorial gathering will follow at the Eunice Stick Gathering Place, located in the Stockbridge-Munsee Elderly Services Building, N8651 Maplewood St., Bowler.

Cameron Wagner

Cameron AD Wagner, affectionately known as Cam or Hambone, of Lena, passed away March 19, 2026, at the age of 13. Though his time with us was short – he was born April 28, 2012 – Cam lived a full and compassionate life, touching the hearts of everyone who knew him.

Mildred ‘Midge’ Leslie

Mildred “Midge” Leslie, 95, of Mattoon, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026, at Rosemary Manor in Mattoon.

Midge was born Sept. 30, 1930, in Chicago, the daughter of William Sr. and Genevieve (Skeel) Leslie.

Midge worked as an X-ray technician in Chicago. She enjoyed the outdoors, biking and canoeing. Midge enjoyed traveling and going to Door County. She liked to watch tennis, softball and westerns.

Sylvia Kamke

Sylvia Ruth (Nicholas) Kamke was born in Abrams on June 14, 1934, to Bernice (Exford) and Wesley Nicholas.

Sylvia was a graduate of Oconto Falls High School with the class of 1952. She then went to nursing training school at Deaconess Hospital in Milwaukee and Chicago, with her dear friend, Shirley Peterson. Buzz and Sylvia were married at the Chapel in the Sky in Chicago on Nov. 26, 1954.

Reuben H. Erickson

Reuben H. Erickson, 84, formerly of Bowler, passed away Monday, March 9, 2026, at Evergreen Health Services in Shawano. He was born April 6, 1941, in Tigerton, the son of Carl and Dorothy (Denny) Erickson.

Reuben proudly served in the United States Army from 1967-73. He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan who also liked watching westerns. Reuben especially cherished family gatherings and cookouts.

Thomas T. Cota

Thomas T. Cota, 88, of Gillett, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026.

Tom was born Dec. 16, 1937, to the late Ted and Mildred (Hohn) Cota in Oconto. He graduated from Gillett High School with the class of 1955 and then served two years in the Army.
