Dorothy A. Yaeger

Dorothy A. Yaeger, 93, of Wittenberg, died on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her family. Dorothy was born on Aug. 28, 1928, in Eland, the daughter of Werner and Laura (Buss) Wolfinger. On July 8, 1950, Dorothy was united in marriage to John Yaeger in Birnamwood. He preceded her in death on Dec. 11, 1993. Dorothy was employed at the Eland Post Office for some time and then became a stay-at-home mother to raise her family.

Dennis L. Wieck
Dennis L. Wieck (Ski) passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 25, 2022. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Den was born on April 26, 1949 in Wausau. Dennis is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Vuchetich). Dennis and Kathleen were together over 50 years, and they enjoyed traveling, fishing, sporting events and music concerts. Dennis was preceded in passing by parents, Raymond and Delores Wojciechowski, of Wittenberg.

Esther M. Morris, 93, of Cecil, passed away on Thursday afternoon, June 23, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 18, 1929, in Green Valley, daughter of the late Charles and Rose Hanelt. Esther was a graduate of Pulaski High School. In 1949, she married Kermit Morris. They celebrated 73 years of marriage earlier this year.

Maxine M. Buettner
Maxine M. Buettner, of Wabeno, died Thursday, June 23, 2022, at home under the care of Compassus Hospice with her family by her side. She was 86 years old. She was born March 25, 1936, in Shawano, a daughter of Arthur and Bernice (Kautz) Moede. She married LeRoy Buettner on Oct. 20, 1956, in Shawano. She was a graduate of Shawano High School. She was a loving and compassionate homemaker and mother of two.

Michael J. McGuire
Michael J. McGuire, 84, lifelong resident of Lena, was born to Raymond and Lula McGuire on January 31, 1938. Mike passed away on June 21, 2022, due to a rare aggressive lymphoma. Mike was an athletic standout in basketball (he is a member of the 1,000-point club), baseball, track and football at Lena High School. He played football at St. Norbert for two years.
