Bahr plea on 100 charges delayed again

A difference of opinion on time to be served and an absent assistant district attorney delayed the plea and sentencing for Tracy Bahr, who currently has 100 charges levied against him in Shawano-Menominee County Circuit Court.

Utility helps school district study energy efficiency

The Oconto Falls School District has secured more than $8,200 in funding to optimize its building systems, an effort that is expected to reduce energy costs and waste.

The funding comes from WPPI Energy, the joint action agency for Oconto Falls Municipal Utilities (OFMU), through its energy saving programs for schools and governments.

Shawano-Menominee County Court News

• Philip K. Hope, 38, Green Bay, pleaded no contest Aug. 8 to a misdemeanor charge of operating while revoked. A related felony charge was dismissed in a plea agreement. Judge William Kussel Jr. levied fines and court costs and sentenced him to 45 days in county jail.

Oconto County Court News

• Raymond A. Tourtillott, 45, Bayfield, pleaded no contest Aug. 4 to fleeing an officer in his vehicle. Judge Michael Judge imposed and stayed a prison sentence, then placed Tourtilott on two years of probation with conditions.
