Victor D. Vigue Sr.

Victor D. Vigue Sr., 79, of Tisch Mills, died peacefully Sunday morning, Oct. 24, 2021, at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay with family by his side. Victor was born in Keshena on July 31, 1942, and was a 1961 graduate of Shawano High School. Over the years, Victor worked as a school bus driver for six years; was employed for 16 years at Mirro Aluminum Company; owned and operated the Gin Mill Bar in Tisch Mills for six years; and drove semi-truck for over 25 years until retiring, most of those years with Schley Drey Line of Manitowoc. Victor loved Disney (collecting Disney, going to Disney and Disney cruises). He also loved his yard work and landscaping; enjoyed playing cards and dominoes; and time spent with his family. Victor married the former Shirley Ruelle on Feb. 2, 2002, in Tisch Mills. Survivors include his wife, Shirley; his children, Tina (Dennis) Luckow, of Fort Myers, Florida, Kim (Dave) Theis, of Manitowoc, Amy Jo (Todd) Vigue Rocho, of Niagara, Terri (Steve) Preston, of Reedsville, Dean (Vicki) Morgan, of Homestead, Florida, Doug (Jodi) Morgan, of Denmark, Brad (Kathy) Ruelle, of Manitowoc, and Chad (Stacy) Ruelle, of Two Rivers; 23 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a special friend, Nick Wallander. He is further survived by his many siblings, Maureen (Steve) Kiser, Jeanette Vigue, Brenda Blick, Barbara Kosbab, Betty (Seane) Edgerton, Paulette Morrison, Leola Gridel, Viola (Larry) Maltbey, Mark (Vicki) Vigue, Ronnie (Terri) Vigue, Jimmy Vigue and sister-in-law, Sue Vigue, along with many many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Phyllis and Gordon O’Connor; two sons: Victor Vigue Jr. and David Morgan; one sister- and four brothers-in-law: Donna (Jerome) Duffeck, Mike Blick, Tom Knudsen, Rodger Gridel; and two brothers, Mitchell Vigue and Arthur Vigue. A memorial Mass was held Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mishicot. The Rev. Christian Raj presided at the service.
