Tigerton, Pulaski, Wittenberg-Birnamwood win in baseball

Bonduel stands at 1-1 on the year and 1-1 in CWC East play following a 4-2 home loss to Amherst on April 8. The game was scoreless through the first four innings. Bonduel took a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the sixth on a Mason Zuleger infield single. The Bears then gave up three runs in the top of the seventh on two hits and three walks. Easton Reinke led the Bears with two hits. Noah Weier took the loss, and Eli Bohm got the win for the Falcons. Northland Lutheran 18, Bowler 9 Bowler’s 2024 season opened with an 18-9 loss to Northland Lutheran/Wisconsin Valley Lutheran. The high-scoring game started with Northland Lutheran scoring two runs in the first and three in the second to open a 5-0 lead. Bowler’s six runs in the bottom of the second inning gave them a 6-5 lead. Northland Lutheran blew the game open with seven runs in the third inning and another six in the fourth inning to lead 18-6. The Panthers scored once more in the fourth and twice in the fifth. Tigerton 4, Marion 2 Tigerton’s CWC North season kicked off on the right foot with a 4-2 win over Marion. Pulaski 5, Green Bay Preble 3 Pulaski picked up its first win of the year, a 5-3 Fox River Classic Conference victory over Green Bay Preble. Wittenberg-Birnamwood 11, Iola-Scandinavia 0 The Chargers began their season and CWC East play with an 11-0 shut out over Iola-Scandinavia on the road.
