Thomas Gauthier

Thomas “Tom” Paul Gauthier, 83, passed away peacefully Aug. 13, 2026, following a courageous battle. Throughout it all, his unwavering faith, strength and love for his family remained constant. Tom lived a life rooted deeply in faith, serving as the absolute rock and foundation for his entire family.

Tom was a man exceptionally dedicated to his family, his friends and his community. He possessed a profound love of nature, was a passionate animal lover and an avid gardener who found immense peace in the beauty of the outdoors.

Alongside his many hands-on passions, Tom carried a never-ending thirst for knowledge, always eager to learn, read and explore new concepts. Known for his quick wit and bright spirit, he was also a true jokester who loved making people smile and bringing infectious laughter into any room he entered. In his quiet days at home, his beloved dog, Chloe, was his constant companion, bringing him great comfort and endless joy.

He is reunited in peace with his beloved parents, Raymond and Dorothy Gauthier; and his dear brothers, Albert, Pat and James Gauthier.

Tom’s rich legacy of love lives on through his sister, Janice Johnson; five devoted daughters, Lynn DeKelver, Brenda Gauthier, Bonnie Gauthier, Jenny Tennant and Tammy Gauthier; 13 cherished grandchildren, Amanda Duenes, Matthew DeKelver, Jacob Dey, Brandon Neumann, Chris Druckrey, Jason Druckrey, Dahlton Sutrick, Samantha Sutrick, Austin Sutrick, Cambree Sutrick, Robert McDermid, Alissa McDermid and Haylee Duenes; and four precious great-grandchildren, Malachi Sutrick, Kingston Wenzel, Diego Duenes and Kyley DeKelver, all of whom brought immense light and pride to his life.

The family will honor Tom’s wishes with a private service.
