Thomas F. Anderson

Tom Anderson, 62, passed away peacefully on Aug. 30, 2015, in Shawano, surrounded by the love of his family after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was born on April 6, 1953, in Shawano, son of the late Charles and Odelia (Dolly) Anderson. Tom grew up in the Shawano area and graduated from Shawano High School in 1971. On Dec. 19, 2005, Tom married Anita Sebero, and they moved to Appleton. She preceded him in death on Sept. 22, 2012. Tom worked for many years as a semi-truck driver having driven for Reinhart Foods and later for Estes Express Lines. He enjoyed auto racing, ice fishing, deer hunting and camping. He was a fun-loving and caring man who deeply loved his family and friends. Tom is survived by his loving children, Sarah (Stuart) Millikin, of De Pere, Chad (Ashley) Anderson, of Shawano, and stepson, Zach Sebero, of Appleton; his grandchildren, Ireland, Isaiah and Josiah Millikin, of De Pere, and Brady and Madisyn Anderson, of Shawano. He is further survived by his brothers and sister, Don (Sharon) Anderson, Jerry Anderson, Christine Giese and Roger (Pam) Anderson, all of Shawano; aunt, Cecilia Voelz, of Shawano; aunt, Josephine Ludvigsen, of Clintonville; and uncle, Bob (Mary) Mathews, of Embarrass; his special friend, Gayle Springborn, of Shawano; Sarah and Chad’s mother, Kathy Warmbier, of Green Bay; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Faith Erin Millikin, sister, Charlien Wetzel, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Per Tom’s wishes, a private memorial service and inurnment will be held for the immediate family. A memorial fund has been established with donations being given to ThedaCare Hospice Foundation Inc. The family would like to thank Fox Valley Oncology, the nurses at Appleton Medical Center, ThedeCare Hospice and the caring staff at Evergreen Nursing Home for making his last months as comfortable as possible.
