JudyAnn and Richard Pahlow, of Shawano, were recently honored at the 2015 Wisconsin State Fair, presented by U.S. Cellular, for their sesquicentennial farm.
The Sesquicentennial Farm Awards Program began in 1998 as part of the state’s sesquicentennial celebration. The program honors families who have had continuous ownership of their Wisconsin farm or home for 150 years or more. Hillshire Farm, of New London, sponsored the 18th program.
On Aug. 9, Hillshire Farm recognized 42 sesquicentennial farm families. More that 740 sesquicentennial properties have been honored since the program’s inception.
