The Shawano Civic Center, 225 S. Main St., Shawano, is looking for community members interested in playing cards, cribbage, dice games and board games — all of which are supplied at no charge.
Organizers said the games offer a chance to socialize, make new friends, enjoy a cup of coffee and have some fun.
Currently, the civic center offers the Silver Foxes exercise group from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and Bingo at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Card games are set to be offered from 1-3 p.m. or 2-4 p.m. Monday, Thursday or Friday, depending on the schedules of the players.
The civic center is also on the lookout for musicians who want to voluntarily share their talent. Singalongs or presentations (mornings or afternoons) are welcome. There is a piano at the civic center.
Anyone from beginners to experts interested in joining a painting group are welcome to stop in from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday.
