Richard “Dick” Todd Aderman, 61, of Shawano, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2015.
Dick was born in Shawano on April 1, 1954, to the late Russell and Frances (Sperberg) Aderman. Dick was a 1972 graduate of Shawano High School and then attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed trapping, hunting and fishing. Dick was a self-taught historian on United States war history, from the Civil War, World War I, World War II and the Vietnam War. Through his reading, he gained a strong understanding and appreciation of the Constitution and the importance of every person’s vote.
Dick was a selfless man, providing care for his family over the past years. He will be remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.
Dick is survived by his brothers, David Aderman, of Shawano, and Steve (Julie) Aderman, of Menominee, Michigan; as well as his two nieces, Allyson and Abigail Aderman, of Menominee.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
In accordance with Dick’s wishes, private family services will be held.
