Red Arrow will host a club meeting, trail ride and pig roast Saturday, June 13, at the Old Town Hall Sports Bar/Restaurant in Townsend.
Open to the public, the event will start with a short meeting at noon followed by an ATV/UTV ride on trails in the area. Beginning at 3 p.m. and extending into the evening will be meat raffles, disc jockey music, food and refreshments, a pig roast and bonfire. This is a family-friendly event with fun things for the kids to do. Activities will be held under the cover of a big tent, so the event will take place rain or shine.
All proceeds will help keep the ATV/UTV and snowmobile trails in top condition. Red Arrow is responsible for about 65 miles of snowmobile trails and about 15 miles of ATV/UTV trails, including the Nicolet State Recreational Trail through Townsend. In addition, the town of Townsend has nearly 90 miles of mostly gravel town roads available for ATV/UTV use.
Come by ATV, UTV, car, truck or van; everyone is invited to attend this event. The Old Town Hall Sports Bar/Restaurant is located on the ATV/UTV trail in Townsend. Direct ATV/UTV access is available from as far as Gillett, Florence and the Michigan border.

Red Arrow and Hidden Bear Trail ATV Club have scheduled training sessions on Monday, July 6, and Tuesday, July 7. People born on or after Jan. 1, 1988, must take this course to ride legally anywhere in Wisconsin.
