Pulaski track shines at Midwest Indoor Championship

Pulaski’s girls track and field team score 74 points and placed second at the Midwest Indoor Championship, hosted by UW-River Falls on April 4.

The boys team tallied 62 points and placed third. There were 16 teams competing in the meet.

Emerson Fabry won the 1,600-meter run in 5:22.26. Maggie Gerth finished second.

Gerth won the 3,200-meter run in 11:15.10.

Olivia Sprangers also won the long jump at 16-1.50.

In the 800-meter run, Fabry was second. Sprangers placed second in the 60-meter dash and the 200-meter dash.

Anya Hasser finished third in the 400-meter dash.

Pulaski’s 4x800-meter relay team placed fifth. Running were Addison Swan, Cameran Reiss, Adelaide Bruckert and Ellie Murphy.

For the boys, Keaton Dauk won the 200-meter dash in 22.64 and the 400-meter dash in 50.61. He was also second in the 60-meter hurdles.

Also winning was the 4x400-meter relay team of Thomas Murphy, Sawyer Goodness, Max Fredrickson and Walker Wozniak in 3:36.63.

Arden Gillen placed second in the 3,200-meter run.

Finishing third was the 4x800-meter relay team of Murphy, Parker Marshall, Dayne Groth and Bryce Voelz.

In the 800-meter run, Mitchell Pilon finished fourth.

Also in fourth was the 4x200-meter relay team of Fredrickson, Goodness, Andre Burnett and Trentyn Linz.
