Pulaski boys, girls win at Denmark invite

Denmark Cold Vike Invite

Pulaski’s boys and girls track teams finished in first place at the 12-team invite at Denmark.

The girls tallied 163.5 points, and the boys had 160.5. No other team topped 90 points.

Winning for the girls were Maggie Gerth in the 1,600-meter run in 5:22.75 and in the 3,2000-meter run in 11:28.83; Aubrey Omernik in the 100-meter hurdles in 17.78; the 4x100-meter relay team of Addison Krueger, McKenna McKeefry, Meagn Kraft and Faye Brunke in 53.13; Olivia Spongers won the long jump at 15-7.75.

Other Pulaski medalists were Sprangers, second, 100-meter dash; and Brunke, third, 100-meter dash; Tayln Pratt, third, 200-meter dash, Olivia Lemirade, firth, 200-meter dash; and Pratt, third, 400-meter dash, and Lemirade, fifth, 400-meter dash.

Emerson Fabry was third in the 800-meter run, Adelaide Bruckert was sixth in the 1,600-meter run, and Cameran Reiss was fourth in the 3,200-meter run.

In the 300-meter hurdles, Sophia Lange was second, and Omernik was fourth.

The 4x200-meter relay team of Krueger, Kraft, Brunke and Sprangers placed second. Also in second were the 4x400-meter relay team of Fabry, Lange, Brynn Becks and Pratt; and the 4x800-meter relay team of Addison Swan, Reiss, Fabry and Gerth.

Noelle Manning was second in the discus and fourth in the shot put.

Rebecca Huisman placed fourth the high jump, and Kraft tied for fourth the pole vault. Kraft was sixth in the long jump.

Wining for the boys were Keaton Dauk in the 200-meter dash in 23.20, the 110-meter hurdles in 15.47 and 300-meter hurdles in 40.66; Arden Gillen in the 3,200-meter run in 10:19.52; the 4x200-meter relay team of Max Fredrickson, Sawyer Goodness, Andre Burnett and Kam McKeefry in 1:33.79; and Bohdan Schmidt in the long jump at 21-0.5.

Also with points were Fredrickson placing fourth in the 100-meter dash; McKeefry in fifth in the 200-meter dash; and Mitchell Pilon was second in the 400-meter dash, and Walker Wozniak was sixth.

In the 800-meter run, Parker Marshall finished fourth, and Bryce Voelz was fifth. Marshall was second in the 1,600-meter run, and Grayden Gossen was sixth. Dayne Groth was second in the 3,200-meter run, and Gossen was fourth.

Nico VanDerPerren placed second in the 100-meter hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles.

In the 4x100-meter relay, the team of Schmidt, Burnett, Anthony Ficari and Danene Kehoe placed fifth. Placing second in the 4x400-meter relay were McKeefry, Goodness, Fredrickson and Wozniak. Also in second was the 4x800-meter relay team of Groth, Gillen, Voelz and Pilon.

Libero Angeli was fifth in the discus, and Kehoe was sixth in the triple jump.

Boys Warrior Invite

Wittenberg-Birnamwood’s Aydrean McGeshick won the 200-meter dash in 25.72 and the 400-meter dash in 59.51, while Logan Gibson won the triple jump at 41-0.50 in the Wausau West invitational.

Also winning medals for the Chargers were McGeshick, fourth, 55-meter dash; Gibson, sixth, 55-meter dash; Gibson, third, 200-meter dash; Gibson, third, 400-meter dash; McGeshick, second, long jump; and Mason Wierzba, sixth, shot put.

Leading the Bonduel contingent was Jackson Krause, who placed fourth in the shot put.

Amias Saldana Busch finished sixth in the triple jump, and Garett Anderson was sixth in the 800-meter run.
