Human skeletal remains discovered on the Menominee Indian Reservation on Oct. 30, 2023, have been identified as Dean A. Ford, the Menominee Tribal Police Department announced March 20.
Ford, 31, was a descendant of the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin. It wasn’t disclosed how long Ford had been missing or how long the remains had been at the site where they were discovered.
It is believed that Ford lived on the reservation or in Shawano at the time of his disappearance. Ford had associates in both areas.
This matter is being investigated as a homicide by the tribal police and the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
