Orlin H. Pederson, 70, of Leopolis, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2020. Orlin was born March 22, 1950, to the late Orlin G. Pederson and Shirley Pederson-Aschenbrenner. He graduated from Marion High School and went to college at University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. On April 21, 1979, Orlin was united in marriage to Peggy Jo Olsen in Shawano. She later passed away on Jan. 5, 2014.
Orlin owned and operated the family Pederson Bar in Leopolis for over 40 years. He was an avid baseball fan and was a member of the Leopolis Booster Club. He was even recognized in the Leopolis baseball hall of fame. Orlin enjoyed playing cribbage and loved his nieces and nephews.
Orlin is survived by his sisters-in-law, Pat Martin and Pam (Mike) Burnett. He is further survived by his half-brothers and sisters, cousins and the community of Leopolis, whom he considered as family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy; his parents, Orlin and Shirley; and his brother, Duane Pederson.
A memorial service for Orlin will be held at a later date due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
