He had been parked in a lot at Pine and North Maple streets where he was speaking to a female pedestrian, 27, of Oconto Falls, about 7:30 p.m., when he abruptly sped away, jumping the curb. The woman sustained scratches on her leg where she was struck by the man’s vehicle.
Charges of domestic battery and disorderly conduct against an Oconto Falls man, 32, were forwarded to the district attorney’s office July 18 following an argument between the man and his wife, 25, on North Main Street.
A resident on South Flatley Avenue reported hearing shooting in the area on July 21. Local law enforcement personnel were participating in firearms training at the site of the former dump.
A Coleman man, 72, was cited for hit-and-run after his truck struck a parked vehicle in the parking lot of Burger King, 343 E. Highland Drive, on July 22. The car sustained minor damage; the truck was not damaged.
An Oconto man, 40, was taken into custody July 22 for disorderly conduct (domestic) and criminal damage to property after a disturbance involving his girlfriend, 34, of Oconto Falls. A door was damaged at the woman’s Sheridan Street residence.
