Dec. 29 Deputies logged 40 incidents including the following: Traffic Miscellaneous - Authorities investigated a report of a vehicle driving backward down U.S. Highway 41/141 in Abrams. The vehicle was located at the A&W in Stiles with front-end issues. Citizen Assist - Authorities assisted a person at Shell on Duame Lane in Stiles when the individual ran out of fuel and forget to carry a wallet. Illegal Burn - Authorities investigated a report of a home on County Road K in Oconto Falls where tires were burning in the back yard. Disturbance - Authorities assisted with an individual who was out of control and combative on Bramschreiber Road in Little Suamico. Accidents - Authorities investigated 25 different reports throughout Oconto County of vehicles stuck or in the ditch due to the snowstorm. Dec. 28 Deputies logged 44 incidents including the following: Animal Bite - Authorities investigated a report of a cat that bit a person on County Road I in Oconto Falls. Accidents - Authorities investigated 11 different reports of vehicles that slid into the ditch in Oconto County. Accident - Authorities investigated a report of a vehicle that hit Family Dollar on state Highway 32 in Lakewood after the vehicle’s brakes failed. Illegal Burn - Authorities investigated a report of a home on South Pineview Circle in Suring where a large fire was burning near the woods on a day with windy conditions. Traffic Miscellaneous - Authorities investigated a report of a Ford Explorer traveling north on U.S. Highway 41/141 in Abrams full of kids who were mooning vehicles. Dec. 27 Deputies logged 24 incidents including the following: Runaway - Authorities assisted with a female juvenile on Zawalick Lane in Sobieski whose mother believed she might have gone to a home in De Pere. Fire - Authorities assisted at a vehicle fire on Meyer Hill Lane in Lena. Burglary - Authorities investigated a report of an attempted burglary at a home on state Highway 22 in Lena. Dec. 26 Deputies logged 21 incidents including the following: Accident - Authorities investigated a one-vehicle rollover with a person trapped inside the vehicle on U.S. Highway 141 in Lena. Traffic Miscellaneous - Authorities investigated a report of a vehicle on U.S. Highway 141 north of County Road E in Abrams that pointed a green stun gun at passing vehicles. Disturbance - Authorities investigated a report of a person involved in a dispute earlier in the day who was blocking Frontage Road in Lena, not allowing the another person in the dispute to pass. Littering - Authorities investigated a report of illegal dumping of animal carcasses in the swamp on Tom Post Road and Goldhorn Road in Pound. Theft - Authorities investigated a report of a cell phone that was taken between 6 and 9 p.m. Dec. 25 on Main Street in Oconto. Dec. 25 Deputies logged 24 incidents including the following: Criminal Damage - Authorities investigated a report of a broken back window on a vehicle on Teto Lane in Oconto. Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of a man, dressed in camouflage, who did not appear to be acting right while walking down Main Street in Gillett. Threatening - Authorities investigated a report of a woman whose husband threatened her on Pine Road in Suring. Intoxication - Authorities investigated a report of a man lying face down on the side of County Road S and Fox Road in Little Suamico. The caller believed the man was intoxicated. Dec. 24 Deputies logged 30 incidents including the following: Accident - Authorities investigated a report of a vehicle that hit and injured a pedestrian walking on U.S. Highway 41/141 and County Road D in Abrams. Alarm - Authorities investigated a report of an alarm sounding at a vacant home on Hilbert Road in Sobieski. Accident - Authorities investigated a report of a two-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 41 and Frog Pond Road in Oconto. Theft - Authorities investigated a report of a trailer missing from a property on County Road S in Little Suamico. Dec. 23 Deputies logged 20 incidents including the following: Theft - Authorities investigated a report of two high water signs taken from the town of Little River on North Park Road in Oconto. The signs are valued at $150 each. Citizen Assist - Authorities assisted with dispute regarding a child exchange on state Highway 32 in Gillett. Tree Down - Authorities assisted with a report of a tree lying in the middle of Sampson Road in Little Suamico. Criminal Damage - Authorities investigated a report of damage to a mailbox on Wood Road in Oconto. Dec. 22 Deputies logged 20 incidents including the following: Accident - Authorities investigated a report of a semi driver in the ditch near the Oconto River on U.S. Highway 141 in Stiles. Accident - Authorities investigated a report of a one-vehicle rollover on U.S. Highway 141 and County Road I in Stiles. Accident - Authorities investigated four accidents that occurred between 5 and 6 p.m. on U.S. Highway 141 between Stiles and Lena, due to slippery roads. Accident - Authorities investigated two accidents that occurred about 5 p.m. on state Highway 22 between Stiles and Oconto Falls, due to slippery roads.
