• Raymond A. Tourtillott, 45, Bayfield, pleaded no contest Aug. 4 to fleeing an officer in his vehicle. Judge Michael Judge imposed and stayed a prison sentence, then placed Tourtilott on two years of probation with conditions.

• Lucas L Rueckert, 48, Appleton, pleaded guilty Aug. 6 to misdemeanor counts of battery and disorderly conduct. A related felony count was dismissed in a plea agreement. Judge Jay Conley withheld sentencing and placed Rueckert on one year of probation with conditions.

• Ryan K. Bartlett, 42, Oconto, was charged Aug. 4 with battery or threat to a law officer and misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and unlawful phone use threatening harm. Conley set a $750 cash bond and scheduled a plea and sentencing hearing for Aug. 27.

• Chris Kevin VanderSteen, 58, Gillett, was charged Aug. 4 with two counts of felony bail jumping and a misdemeanor count of possession of THC. Conley set a $500 cash bond and scheduled a status conference for Sept. 12.

• James L. Valley, 40, Suring, was charged Aug. 5 with battery or threat to a law officer, making terrorist threats, felony bail jumping and a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. Conley set a $500 cash bond and adjourned his initial appearance until Aug. 14.
