A preliminary hearing was held for Daniel T. Sellen, 36, Peshtigo, on a felony charge of aggravated battery (domestic abuse) and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred May 12 in Oconto. A $10,000 cash bond was modified by the court to a $2,500 cash bond. An arraignment is July 9.
An arraignment was held for Reuben C. Magiary, 42, New Franken. He pleaded not guilty to felony charges of possession of methamphetamine (repeater), possession of drug paraphernalia to manufacture, compound, convert, produce or store methamphetamine (repeater) and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred June 16 in Oconto Falls. A $15,000 cash bond continues. A pretrial conference is Aug. 6.
Proceedings from June 17
An plea/sentencing hearing was held for Zak R. Noack, 21, Oconto. He pleaded no contest to two felony charges of theft of movable property, party to a crime, and a misdemeanor charge from Nov. 23 in Oconto. The court withheld a finding of guilty and judgment on one count, with a two-year probation period. Count 2 was amended to a misdemeanor. On one misdemeanor charge, a sentence of nine months was imposed and stayed. On the other misdemeanor charge, he was sentenced to 120 days jail. He must obtain a GED/HSED started during incarceration. He must also do 50 hours of community service and maintain absolute sobriety.
A plea hearing was held for Kyle L. Davis, 17, Mountain. He pleaded no contest to five felony counts of burglary of a building or dwelling, party to a crime, and 10 misdemeanor counts, which occurred between Jan. 27 and Feb. 16 in Riverview. A $5,000 signature bond and a $15,000 cash bond continue. Sentencing is Aug. 6.
A plea hearing was held for Vicki L. Steinhaus, 52, Oconto. She pleaded no contest to felony charges of manufacturing and delivering non-narcotics and two counts of manufacturing and delivering schedule IV drugs Sept. 2 and 12 in Oconto. A $10,000 signature bond continues. Sentencing is Aug. 3.
Proceedings from June 11
A pretrial conference was held for Sterling L. Soman, 20, Wabeno. He pleaded not guilty to felony charges of vehicle operator fleeing and eluding an officer, bail jumping, possession of THC (second-plus offense), a forfeiture and two misdemeanors, which allegedly occurred March 30 in Maple Valley. A $10,000 cash bond continues. A plea hearing is July 2.
A pretrial conference was held for William P. Ahnen, 60, Little Suamico. He pleaded not guilty to felony charges of possession of child pornography (10 counts), which allegedly occurred Dec. 26 in Little Suamico. A $35,000 cash bond continues. A status conference is July 29.
An adjourned initial appearance was held for Kennedy P. Courchaine, 50, Oconto Falls, on a felony charge of first-degree child sexual assault, sexual contact with a child under 13, which allegedly occurred June 1 and Aug. 30, 2014, in Pensaukee. A $25,000 cash bond continues. A preliminary hearing is July 13.
A adjourned initial appearance was held for Sarah E. Gallian, 21, Suring, on felony charges of manufacturing and delivering THC (distribution to minors), maintaining a drug trafficking place and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred April 30 in Suring. The court set a $2,000 cash bond. A preliminary hearing is July 16.
