A final pretrial/plea hearing was held for Casey L. Shufelt, 31, Oconto. He pleaded no contest to a felony charge of substantial battery hate crime and two misdemeanor charges from Sept. 19 in Oconto. A $15,000 cash bond continues. Sentencing is Aug. 11.

An initial appearance was held for Mohmednoor S. Abdullahi, 21, Faribault, Minnisota, on felony charges of use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime and child enticement sexual contact, which allegedly occurred June 21 in Oconto County. The court set a $50,000 cash bond. A continued initial appearance is July 9.

A waiver preliminary/plea hearing was held for Isaiah M. Perez, 20, Oconto. He pleaded no contest to felony charges of burglary of a building or dwelling (party to a crime) and two misdemeanor charges, which allegedly occurred Aug. 20, 2014, in Oconto. A $5,000 cash bond continues. Sentencing is Aug. 11.
A waiver preliminary hearing was held for Richard L. Comins Jr., 42, Oconto Falls, on felony charges of OWI (fifth or sixth) and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred May 6 in Stiles. A $20,000 cash bond continues. An arraignment is July 6.
A waiver preliminary hearing was held for Dwight D. Cooper, 17, Green Bay, on felony charges of driving or operating a motor vehicle without consent and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred May 13 in Little Suamico. A $1,500 cash bond was amended to $250 cash bond. An arraignment is July 6.
An initial appearance was held for Jacob R. Buelteman, 29, Oconto Falls, on a felony charge of vehicle operator fleeing or eluding an officer, which allegedly occurred June 20 in the town of Oconto Falls. The court set a $2,500 cash bond. A continued initial appearance is July 9.
