Proceedings from Sept. 17 A waiver preliminary hearing, arraignment and bond review were held for Marita C. Lynn, 46, Oconto. She pleaded not guilty to two felony charges of child abuse intentionally cause harm, which allegedly occurred Sept. 5 in Oconto. A $2,000 cash bond continues. A pretrial conference is Oct. 8 A waiver preliminary hearing was held for Jason R. Koehler, 36, Marinette. on a felony charge of theft of movable property (greater than $10,000), and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred Sept. 2 in Oconto. A $2,500 cash bond continues. An arraignment is Oct. 1. Proceedings from Sept. 16 A sentencing hearing was held for William P. Ahnen, 60, Little Suamico, on felony six counts of contribute to delinquency of a child (act or omissions) and four counts of possession of child pornography, which occurred Dec. 26, 2014, in Little Suamico. On counts one, two and three, he was sentenced to one year incarceration and two years extended supervision, all consecutive. On counts four and five, sentencing was withheld, and he is to serve six years probation, consecutive to counts one, two and three. He is to have no contact with any minor children, must register as a sex offender and seek any assessments, evaluations, treatment and follow through. He may not use any device able to connect to the Internet. All other counts were read in and dismissed. A sentencing hearing was held for Justin M. Alsteen, 33, Little Suamico, on a felony charge of possession of THC, second offense, on Jan. 25 in Little Suamico. A sentence of one year, six months incarceration, two years extended supervision and three years probation was imposed and stayed. On two misdemeanor charges, he was sentenced to eight months jail for each count, to run concurrent. He must pay restitution of $2,449.48, maintain absolute sobriety, participate in alcohol and other drug abuse assessment, treatment and follow-through, and maintain full-time employment. Proceedings from Sept. 11 An arraignment was held for Douglas J. Kempke, 36, Pound. He pleaded not guilty to a felony charge of child abuse intentionally cause harm, child abuse recklessly cause harm (two counts) and a misdemeanor, which allegedly occurred March 2013 through April 2015 in the town of Oconto Falls. A $2,500 signature bond continues. A final pretrial conference is Jan. 22. A sentencing hearing was held for Dennis M. Heath, 58, Keshena, on a felony charge of sex registry violation and four misdemeanor charges, which occurred June 20, 2014, in Shawano. A determinate sentence of four years (two years incarceration and two years extended supervision) was imposed and stayed. He was sentenced to two years of additional probation and 300 days jail time, with credit for 164 days. He must comply with the requirements of the sex registry program, obtain and maintain a stable residence, complete all assessments, evaluations and treatments, and maintain absolute sobriety. All four misdemeanor charges were dismissed.
