An arraignment is Jan. 21. A waiver preliminary hearing was held for Matthew M. Casper Jr., 31, Oconto, on a felony charge of escaping criminal arrest, which allegedly occurred Oct. 23 in Oconto. A $50,000 cash bond continues. An arraignment is Jan. 14. Proceedings from Dec. 21 An initial appearance was held for Joshua L. Young, 33, Oconto, on felony charges of burglary of a building or a dwelling, possession of burglarious tools and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred Dec. 19 in Oconto. The court set a $5,000 cash bond. A continued initial appearance is Jan. 14. An initial appearance was held for Sean J. Bristol, 24, Kewaunee, on a felony charge of throwing or discharging bodily fluid at a public safety worker and four misdemeanor charges, which allegedly occurred Dec. 20 in Suring. The court set a $7,500 cash bond. A continued initial appearance is Jan. 14. A preliminary hearing was held for Joseph J. Brandt, 35, Lena, on felony charges of second-degree sexual assault with use of force — two counts, false imprisonment and two misdemeanor charges. which allegedly occurred Dec. 13 in the town of Lena. The court set a $25,000 cash bond. An arraignment is Jan. 12. Proceedings from Dec. 18 A waiver preliminary hearing/arraignment was held for Matthew M. Compton, 32, Green Bay. He pleaded not guilty to a felony charge of possession of narcotic drugs and three misdemeanor charges, which allegedly occurred Nov. 29 in Little Suamico. A $2,000 cash bond continues. A pretrial conference is Jan. 14. An arraignment/bail bond hearing was held for Edmond J. Sutrick, 57, Oconto Falls, on felony charges of second-degree sexual assault of a child — two counts, repeated sexual assault of the same child, at least three violations of first- or second-degree sexual assault, which allegedly occurred Aug. 1 and Oct. 10 in Oconto Falls. A $50,000 cash bond was amended to $15,000. A status conference is Jan. 26. A waiver preliminary hearing/plea hearing was held for Clinton B. Ryczek, 24, Oconto Falls. He pleaded no contest to a felony charge of burglary of a building or a dwelling, a felony charge of bail jumping and three misdemeanor charges, which occurred on June 10 in Stiles. A $500 cash bond continues. Sentencing is Jan. 29.
