Proceedings of March 1
• Christopher A. Baier, 40, Oconto, pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of possession of THC and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that occurred Nov. 4. The drug charge was amended from a felony. Judge Michael Judge assessed court costs and sentenced Baier to the 119 days he has already served in county jail.
• Jason C. Smith, 38, White Lake, pleaded guilty to possession of narcotic drugs and misdemeanor counts of criminal damage to property and attempted theft, in connection with an incident that occurred Jan. 4, 2023. Judge Jay Conley scheduled sentencing for May 20 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.
• After a preliminary hearing, Adam J. Martens, 31, Oconto, was bound over on a charge of felony bail jumping in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 14. Conley scheduled arraignment for March 14.

• Miranda Ann Wheeler, 26, Iron Mountain, Michigan, waived extradition to Michigan, where an arrest warrant had been issued because she allegedly violated conditions of her probation.

• Bond was set at $1,000 cash for Dean Charles Trepanier, 64, Suring, after he was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (seventh, eighth or ninth offense) and misdemeanor counts of bail jumping and operating while revoked, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 6. Conley scheduled a preliminary hearing for April 2.
• Bond was set at $1,500 cash for Brady L. Boucher, 29, Oconto, after he was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC (second or subsequent offense), and misdemeanor counts of possession of amphetamine, possession of illegally obtained prescription drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 25. Conley adjourned his initial appearance to March 14.
• Bond was set at $1,000 cash for Katlyn C. Fish, 20, Oconto, after she was charged with child neglect in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 25. Conley adjourned her initial appearance to March 14.
