Proceedings of April 10 • Bruce D. Taylor, 31, Oconto, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on a charge of fleeing an officer in his vehicle, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 4. Judge Jay Conley scheduled arraignment for June 13. • Bond was set at $3,000 cash for Jessica J Baxter, 27, Black Creek, after she was charged with possession of THC (second and subsequent offense, two counts of felony bail jumping and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred April 6. Conley adjourned her initial appearance until April 30. • Bond was set at $1,000 cash for Kevin James Landree, 43, Marinette, after he was charged with taking and driving a vehicle without the owner’s consent and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred April 9. Conley adjourned his initial appearance until May 2. Proceedings of April 9 • A Sept. 25-27 jury trial was scheduled for Scot A. Haas, 55, Waukesha, on charges of homicide by negligent operation of a motor vehicle and homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle, in connection with the UTV crash that claimed the life of David Weinmann, 56, of West Chicago, Illinois, on May 29, 2022. Judge Michael Judge scheduled a final pre-trial conference for Sept. 9. • Jennifer Lynn Clement, 42, Oneida, was placed on two years of probation after Judge withheld sentencing for possession of narcotic drugs, in connection with an incident that occurred May 3, 2023. The conditions include 12 months of county jail time to be used at the discretion of her Department of Corrections agent. Judge gave her credit for two days already served.. • An Oct. 30-31 jury trial was scheduled for Brody J. Tappa, 37, Oconto, who faces two counts of victim intimidation, child abuse recklessly causing harm, false imprisonment, substantial battery and misdemeanor counts of battery and theft of movable property, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 1, 2020. Judge scheduled a final pre-trial conference for Oct. 28. • Baldwin C. Framnes, 23, Gillett, pleaded no contest to fleeing an officer in a vehicle and misdemeanor counts of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (second offense), resisting or obstructing an officer, operating while revoked and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that occurred July 22, 2023, and battery or threat to a law officer, for an alleged July 23 incident, as well as misdemeanor resisting or obstructing an officer and operating while revoked, for a July 11 incident. Judge scheduled sentencing for June 20 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation. • Conner Richard Lewis, 17, Shawano, pleaded no contest to misdemeanor counts of bail jumping and resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that occurred Jan. 1. A related felony charge was dismissed in a plea agreement. Judge withheld sentencing and placed him on one year of probation with conditions. Proceedings of April 8 • Richard A. Bayer Sr., 63, Gillett, pleaded no contest to an amended charge of misdemeanor disorderly conduct in connection with an incident that occurred Sept. 4. Conley levied a $200 fine plus court costs totaling $725. • Marc Allen Monfort, 33, Oconto Falls, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to child abuse intentionally causing harm and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 14. Conley scheduled a pre-trial conference for May 2.
