David G. Shepard Jr., 26, Lakewood, entered no contest pleas to repeated disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer. He was arrested Dec. 20, 2012, in the town of Lakewood. He had been charged with battery causing injury but after plea negotiations, that charge was amended to repeated disorderly conduct. His sentencing will take place Aug. 9, and his $2,500 signature bond continues with the condition he have no alcohol and must not be in any bars or places alcohol is sold or served.
Proceedings from July 1
Brandon M. Lewis, 23, Oconto, was sentenced to six months in jail for theft which occurred Feb. 14, 2013, in Oconto. He was also ordered to pay $1,033 restitution and $253 court costs. A charge of operating another’s vehicle without the owner’s consent was read in and then dismissed.
Proceedings from June 28
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 10 for Andrew T. Whitcomb, 23, Appleton, who faces five counts of being party to theft, a charge of being party to burglary, and of being party to arming himself with a dangerous weapon. He was arrested June 12 in the town of Underhill. His $5,000 cash bond continues, and he is to have no contact with the alleged victims or accomplices.
An arraignment is set for July 10 for Darryl Larock, 34, Oconto. He is charged with repeated strangulation and suffocation, driving another’s vehicle without consent of the owner, repeated battery and repeated causing criminal damage to property on June 7 in Suring, and with battery and disorderly conduct on April 23 in Suring. His $15,000 cash bond continues, and he is to have no alcohol or illegal drugs and is not to be in places alcohol is sold or served.
Proceedings from June 27
An arraignment is set for July 11 for Jason C. Smith, 28, Mountain. He is charged with driving while intoxicated, fourth offense, driving after revocation and operating a motor vehicle without consent of the owner. He was arrested April 20 in the town of Mountain. His $1,000 cash bond continues.
An initial appearance will continue July 11 for Dakota A.D. Dickinson, 18, Oconto Falls. He is accused of being party to burglary which allegedly took place June 26 in the town of Abrams. A $5,000 signature bond was allowed.
