Terry L. Raddant, 57, of Shawano, passed away Friday, July 12, 2013, at ManorCare in Shawano. Born on June 19, 1956, in Shawano, he was the son of the late Marvin “Boots” and Donna (Pleshek) Raddant. Terry was raised in the Shawano area and attended Shawano High School. He later worked as a union welder and later did concrete work. When not at work, Terry enjoyed fishing, hunting, ice fishing with Uncle Dick, going up north with his family, playing bingo and playing cards. He also enjoyed coaching Little League with his nephews and later with his own children. His favorite moments were those spent camping with his family. Terry was an avid NASCAR fan and Shawano Hawks fan. Terry is survived by: partner, Linda; three children, Heather Raddant, Terry Raddant Jr., Andy Raddant; three grandchildren, Bianca Neville, Treyton and Aliegha Prokash; four sisters, Vicky Krause, Julie (Michael) Dallman, Lorie (Murphy) Lyons and Kim (Dwain) Meyer, all of Shawano; and many nieces and nephews. Terry was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marsha Elst. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2013, at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Jim Lonick officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.
