Shawano Police Department Aug. 18 Police logged 12 incidents, including the following: Warrant — A 22-year-old man was taken into custody on a warrant at Richmond and Washington streets. Warrant — A 26-year-old man was taken into custody on a warrant in the 400 block of South Sawyer Street. Bail Jumping — A 49-year-old man was taken into custody for bail jumping at Hensel’s Shawano Inn, 134 S. Washington St. Aug. 17 Police logged 30 incidents, including the following: OWI — A 25-year-old woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated at Main and Hill streets. Disturbance — Police responded to a disturbance at Badgerland Tire, 1438 E. Green Bay St. Harassment — Police responded to a harassment complaint at the Wisconsin House, 216 E. Green Bay St. Disturbance — Police responded to a disturbance in the 800 block of East Richmond Street. Disturbance — A 35-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct after police responded to a disturbance in the 500 block of South Union Street. Aug. 16 Police logged 36 incidents, including the following: Fraud — Police investigated a lottery scam complaint in the 700 block of South Main Street. Shoplifting — Pick ‘N Save, 190 Woodlawn Drive, reported a customer had fraudulently returned vitamins. Suspicious Person — A 23-year-old Clintonville man was arrested for disorderly conduct after a homeowner on Kleeman Court reported he had come home to find a strange man sleeping on his couch. Shoplifting — Charlie’s County Market, 521 S. Main St., reported a shoplifter in custody. Juvenile — Police responded to a juvenile problem in the 200 block of South Union Street. Drug Offense — Two people were cited for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia at Union and Division streets. Warrant — A 19-year-old male was taken into custody on a warrant at Bartlett and Green Bay streets. Shawano County Sheriff’s Department Aug. 18 Deputies logged 45 incidents, including the following: Juvenile — Authorities responded to two separate juvenile alcohol complaints on Warrington Avenue in Cecil. Hit and Run — Authorities investigated a property damage hit-and-run on County Road F in Lessor. Disturbance — Authorities responded to a disturbance at the Elbow Room on Warrington Avenue in Cecil. Disorderly — Authorities responded to a disorderly conduct complaint on Moh He Con Nuck Road in Bowler. Disturbance — Authorities responded to a disturbance on Vinal Street in Wittenberg. Aug. 17 Deputies logged 48 incidents, including the following: OAR — Authorities issued a citation for operating after revocation on Highway 45 in the town of Grant. Disturbance — Authorities responded to a disturbance on Quartz Avenue in Mattoon. Disturbance — Authorities responded to a disturbance on Highway 45 in Tigerton. Disorderly — Authorities responded to a disorderly conduct complaint on County Road M in the town of Herman. Disorderly — Authorities responded to a disorderly conduct complaint on Moh He Con Nuck Road in Bowler. Disturbance — Authorities responded to a disturbance on Spruce Road in Belle Plaine. Fire — Authorities responded to a report of smoke coming from a lighting fixture on Bartelt Street in Gresham. Disturbance — Authorities responded to a disturbance on Rustic Drive in Belle Plaine. Accidents — Authorities logged five accidents, including a minor injury motorcycle accident in Bonduel and two deer-related crashes. Aug. 16 Deputies logged 42 incidents, including the following: Harassment — Authorities responded to a harassment complaint on Highway 32 in Angelica. Hit and Run — Authorities investigated a property damage hit-and-run after a vehicle bumped a motorcycle on Cecil Street in Bonduel and left the scene. There were no injuries. Trespass — Authorities responded to a trespassing complaint on Butternut Road in Richmond. Warrant — A 25-year-old Keshena man wanted for walking away from the Huber work release facility was taken into custody at the North Star Casino in Gresham. Accidents — Authorities logged four accidents, including two deer-related crashes.
