Guy D. Crowe

Guy D. Crowe, 63, of Keshena, began his journey to the spirit world on Thursday evening, Aug. 22, 2013. Guy was born Jan. 28, 1950, in Keshena, a son of the late Albert P. Sr. and Evelyn (Teller) Crowe (Kaquatosh). Guy lived and worked in Milwaukee for several years before returning to the Menominee Reservation. When he moved back, he was employed at the tribal offices in the maintenance department. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoying the great outdoors. Guy was a great brother and father, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Guy is survived by his children, Patrick Waukau, Mitchell Crowe and Carina Crowe; and his stepfather, Raymond J. Kaquatosh Sr., and special friend, Patti Peterman. He is further survived by his siblings, LaFern Crowe Awonohopay, LaVonne Crowe, Stephen (Denise) Crowe, Bonnie Kaquatosh, Raymond Kaquatosh Jr., Dick (Kelly) Kaquatosh Sr., and Richanda Kaquatosh. Guy is further survived by many nieces, nephews (godson Stephen “Chop” Crowe Jr.) and their offspring. Guy was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Albert P. “Hoppy” Crowe Jr.; and the mother of his sons, Julie Waukau. Relatives and friends may call at the Zoar Ceremonial Building after 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, until the time of the service Monday, Aug. 26, at 1 p.m. at the Ceremonial Building. It was Guy’s request to have his body cremated and returned to nature. In lieu of flowers and plants, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
