Wildcats 2-0 in nonconference play
The Gresham High School volleyball team beat Valley Christian and Oneida in nonconference action Tuesday in Gresham.
Gresham beat Valley Christian 25-14, 25-18 and then beat Oneida 25-15, 25-8.
Against Valley Christian, River Otradovec had 12 points, Brittny Andrews had five kills and Taylor Hoffman had six assists.
Andrews had six kills against Oneida, and Nande Carroll had 13 assists and 14 points.
Wildcats lose regional final
The Gresham/Bowler high school soccer team lost 5-1 to Columbus Catholic in the WIAA Division 4 regional final Tuesday in Marshfield.
Scott Cerveny scored the only goal for the No. 3 Wildcats (16-7).
Neal Cerveny had four saves against No. 2 Columbus Catholic.
Bonduel tops Oconto in volleyball
The Bonduel High School volleyball team beat nonconference foe Oconto in four sets Tuesday in Bonduel.
Jenni Dowden had 18 kills for Bonduel. Deanna Zernicke had 15 digs. Alexa Reinke had eight blocks and Courtney Schmidt had 21 assists.
Truckers fall to Xavier
The Clintonville High School volleyball team lost to Eastern Valley Conference foe Appleton Xavier 3-0 Tuesday.
Clintonville lost to Xavier 25-7, 25-13. 25-12.
