Clintonville Motors Inc. has announced plans for a new 20,000-square-foot facility to be built at 670 S. Main St. in Clintonville
The new Ford facility will have 12 service bays, a body shop, service drive, parts department, large indoor showroom, offices and a customer lounge.
“Our present location has served us well for the past 72 years, but we have outgrown our current lot and building,” said Ron Kautz, president of Clintonville Motors. “We feel our new location will give us better access and visibility from Highway 45, plus more parking and lot space to display our new and pre-owned vehicles.”
Excavation began last week on the almost five-acre site to prepare it for the new construction, which will begin in the spring and should be completed in fall 2014.
“We are still open at our current location, 27 W. 12th St., in Clintonville, as we have been since 1941, and will continue to service your Ford, Lincoln, Mercury or other brand of vehicle until we move next fall,” Kautz said.
With the closing of several area Ford dealerships in the past 10 years, Clintonville Motors has persevered, and has seen an increase in service and sales — making it the largest Ford dealer in Waupaca and Shawano counties the past few years, Kautz said.
Clintonville Motors is owned by Ron, Gary and Ryon Kautz.
