Margaret Marie King, 82, of Keshena, passed away Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013, in Shawano. Born on Feb. 17, 1931, in Keshena, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Frances (Waupoose) Tomow.
On May 12, 1949, she was united in marriage to Forrest King in Champaign Urbana, Ill. Margaret lived most of her life in the Keshena area and was a member of the Keshena Assembly of God Church. In her free time she enjoyed sewing and collecting.
Margaret is survived by her loving husband of nearly 64 years, Forrest; her daughter, Lynnell (Derrick) Perez, of Keshena; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Lawrence (Ione) Tomow, Henry (Brenda) Tomow and Collin (Angela) Tomow, all of Keshena.
Margaret was preceded in death by her son, Henry; her parents; and five siblings, Louis, Lucille, Gertrude, Josephine Elizabeth and Bernard.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, at the Keshena Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Michael Eldridge officiating. Burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery. Visitation was held at the church from 4 p.m. Monday until the time of the service on Wednesday.
