Roger Frank Bartnik, 79, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015, at his home in Shawano.
Roger was born in Milwaukee on Jan. 30, 1936, to the late Frank and Evelyn (Pozceczek) Bartnik. Roger married Phyllis Fiedorowicz and together they had two children, Kristina and Kirk. Phyllis passed away in 1981, and Roger married Mavis Kryzanek on July 13, 1983.
Roger is survived by his wife, Mavis, of Shawano; two children, Kristina (Mark) Fenlon, of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Kirk Bartnik, of Wesley Chapel, Florida; a brother, Jerry (Kathy) Bartnik; a sister-in-law, Janet (Don) Pollack; and two grandchildren. Roger is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and neighbors.
Roger was preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis Bartnik, his daughter-in-law, Heather Bartnik, and his brother, Bret Bartnik.
Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 302 S. Main St., in Shawano on Saturday, June 13, from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral Mass at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Bill Ribbens, O. Praem, and Pastor Luke Ferris officiating. Roger will be interred in Mountain Cemetery.
