OAR-Injury A Suring man is accused of injuring a woman in an accident that occurred while he was driving without a license. Sean M. Schulz, 33, allegedly drove through a stop sign and struck another vehicle at Green Valley Road and Middle Drive in the town of Angelica on Aug. 11. A woman in the other vehicle suffered a fractured humerus, according to the criminal complaint. According to court records, Schulz’s license was revoked for 14 months in June for second-offense operating while intoxicated in a Brown County case. Schulz could face a maximum 3½ years and $10,000 fine if found guilty. He is scheduled for an initial court appearance on Sept. 28. Substantial battery An arrest warrant has been filed for a Green Bay man wanted for substantial battery in the town of Washington in July. Douglas L. Lakehouse, 33, is accused of striking a woman several times and knocking her unconscious during a domestic incident on July 4. According to the criminal complaint, the alleged incident happened along the side of the road after Lakehouse stopped the vehicle, beat her and threw her out of the car. She was able to get a ride to Kwik Trip in Bonduel, where an employee called Bonduel police. Lakehouse could face a maximum 3½ years and $10,000 fine if found guilty. Felony theft A Green Bay man arrested for shoplifting in Sturgeon Bay has been charged with felony theft from the Shawano Walmart after police found some of that store’s merchandise in his possession. Chad Degrand, 36, is accused of taking two laptops from the Shawano Walmart on June 3. Their total value makes it a felony. He is also charged with misdemeanor theft for allegedly stealing one laptop from the store on June 2. Degrand could face a maximum 3½ years and $10,000 fine if found guilty. He is due in court for an initial appearance on Sept. 21. Child abuse A Bowler man is facing a felony charge of physical abuse of a child-intentionally causing bodily harm. Leonard J. Pecore, 22, could face a maximum six years in prison and $10,000 fine if convicted. He is accused of beating a 13-year-old girl in the town of Bartelme on Aug. 27. Pecore waived his preliminary hearing and entered a plea of not guilty last week. He is scheduled for a pre-trial conference on Tuesday.
