Brandon James Martin, 30, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015, in Appleton. Brandon was born in Shawano on May 5, 1985, the son of Douglas and Nola (Klosterman) Martin. On Sept. 23, 2014, Brandon was united in marriage to Shanell Boston in Beloit. He had a great sense of humor and loved playing jokes on people. He was a talented artist, and loved drawing and tattooing. In his free time, he enjoyed being outdoors, spending time with his dogs, and helping others.
Brandon is survived by his wife, Shanell; four step-children, Shane, Natalia, Gavin and Isaac Lounsbury; his parents, Douglas and Nola Martin, and one sister, Mary Martin; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, including special nephews, Chris, Kyle and Vinnie, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Douglas and Christopher; his grandparents, Alex and Mary Martin, and Eugene and Violet Klosterman.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Keshena with the Rev. Joel Jores officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Chris Newton Residence, N680 Burnette Lane in Keshena on Monday, Dec. 28, 2015, from 2 p.m. until the procession leaves for the church on Wednesday.
