Marian E. Nicholaus, 83, of Shawano, passed away Friday afternoon, Jan. 22, 2016, in Shawano.
Marian was born on May 28, 1932, in the town of Richmond, a daughter of the late Ervin and Grace (Knowles) Froelich. She was a 1949 graduate of Shawano High School. On Aug. 16, 1952, she was united in marriage to Maynard “Shorty” Nicholaus at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano. Shorty preceded her in death on Sept. 16, 2005.
Marian was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Shawano.
Private family services for Marian were held at Mickelson Funeral & Cremation Service of Shawano. Interment was in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Shawano.
