At 12:05 a.m. June 20, a car driven by a male left County Road V in the town of Underhill and overturned several times. He was cited for failure to notify police of an accident and driving after his license was suspended. It was undetermined which direction the vehicle, which sustained severe damage, was traveling before the accident.
At 2:05 p.m. June 27, vehicles driven by a female and a male were each traveling north on state Highway 32 at County Road CCC in the town of Morgan. The female was making a left turn onto Church Street near County Road CCC when the male attempted to pass her vehicle but hit the rear side of her auto. He was ticketed for unsafe passing.
At 9:13 a.m. June 27, a male was driving a semi south on state Highway 32 in the town of Mountain when he began to make a left turn into a private driveway. A female driving a car behind him couldn’t stop in time and struck the rear of the semi. She was cited for inattentive driving. There was very minor damage to the semi, but severe damage to her vehicle.
At 3:10 p.m. June 27, a female driver was northbound on state Highway 32 north of Silver Hill Road in the town of Mountain, struck the right shoulder gravel, attempted to return to the roadway, lost control, entered the ditch and struck a road sign and a tree. Severe damage was reported to her car.
At 11:39 a.m. June 28, two males were driving cars south on County Road R in the town of How. The first driver braked suddenly for a deer on the roadway, and the second driver was unable to stop in time to avoid running into the rear of the first vehicle, causing moderate damage to both vehicles.
At 1:35 a.m. June 30, a female driver was doing a brake stand and squealing tires on state Highway 32 north of North Gage Road, town of Lakewood, when a pickup truck driven by a male driver approached from behind. Thinking the woman was parked, he attempted to pass her auto when her vehicle began moving and the two vehicles collided. Her vehicle was pushed into a tree. She suffered injuries and was transported to a medical facility. Both drivers were cited for driving while intoxicated.
A burglary was reported June 21 in the town of Maple Valley. A door on a building was pried open and a flat screen television set was ripped off the wall and broken. Many items were reported missing from the building. The owner of the building, which had a gated driveway, is from out of the area, and the full report of items taken was not available.
At 12:35 p.m. June 25, a male driver was driving his car east on Island Lake Road in the town of Riverview, nearing Highway 32 and drove in front of a car traveling north on state Highway 32, driven by a second male driver. The second driver took evasive action to avoid a collision and entered a ditch. His vehicle sustained undercarriage damage, with no damage reported to the first auto.
At 5 a.m. June 25, a male driver was northbound on state Highway 32 south of County Roads M and Z in the town of Maple Valley when a deer ran onto the roadway ahead of him. He swerved to miss the animal, causing his vehicle to spin around on the shoulder, enter a ditch and overturn. He sought his own treatment for minor injuries.
At 2:05 p.m. June 26, a male driver suffered injuries and was transported to a medical facility after he blacked out while driving a car on state Highway 32 north of Waupee River Dam in the town of Mountain. His vehicle struck a driveway at Chute Inn and then a tree, causing mod erate damage to the automobile.
