At noon Sept. 2, a chain-reaction accident took place on state Highway 32 north of Section Four Lane, town of Mountain, as a man from Milwaukee stopped for a vehicle ahead of him. To avoid the accident, a Menominee, Mich., man entered a ditch, but a pickup truck driven by an Oshkosh man and a pickup truck operated by a Suamico man were damaged when they were unable to avoid the crash. No injuries were reported.
At 1:08 a.m. Sept. 8, a hit-and-run accident was reported on private property off County Road J in the town of Little Suamico. Two vehicles were parked side by side in a field, and a woman from Little Suamico reported her vehicle was struck when the second attempted to exit.
At 6:20 p.m. Sept. 11, a Pulaski man was southbound on Safian Road in the town of Chase, shifted gears and spun out, losing control and entering a ditch. The vehicle landed on its roof. He was cited for operating at unreasonable speed.
Four 18-inch chrome aluminum rims were reported missing from the bed of a pickup truck while the truck was parked at a residence on Lilac Road, town of Little Suamico. The theft occurred between Sept. 2 and 5.
A pressure washer was removed from a pickup truck parked in a driveway at a residence on County Road E in the town of Abrams. Pry marks appeared on the side of the truck, and the lock was broken. The theft was reported Sept. 4.
