Vernice F. Bohn, 95, of N2665 County Road QQ, King, died on Monday, Nov. 17, 2014, at King Veterans Home in Waupaca.
Vernice was born June 19, 1920, in Pella to Emil Timm and Viola (Hoffman) Timm. She met her husband, Alvin Bohn, and they were united in marriage on Sept. 24, 1942, at Grace Lutheran Church in Oconto Falls. He preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 2010. Vernice was a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran Church in Oconto Falls and was an avid polka dancer.
She is survived by three children, son Gary (Jeanne) Bohn, of Waupaca, and daughters Janice (Willie) Wittkopf, of Appleton, Susan (Chris) Tagoe, of Okemos, Michigan; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Evelyn Kardoskee, of Appleton.
Vernice was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin, one sister, Phyllis, and two brothers, Ruben and Orvis.

Friends called from 2-3 p.m. Saturday at Kuehl Funeral Home, Gillett. A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. at Kuehl Funeral Home with Pastor Doreen Jeffers officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date.
